Unauthorized copying of my original content damages my search engine rankings, which in turn affects my livelihood. I am fed up with it and am reporting plagarist and unauthorized use to search engines and web hosts.

It is nice that people like my work enough to want to share it, would be nicer if they linked instead of copying. Some people think if something is published on the web it is free to use anywhere. Not true. All original content belongs to author or artist and unless it is specifically licensed for sharing, it is illegal to take it for your own use or repost it.

Do you know what it is like to google a sample of your own writing and find it ranks 7 out of 73 because of so much plagiarism and unauthorized use? When your own search ranking is pushed lower because people with newer websites ripped you off? Often without any attribution or credit. Do you know what its like to carefully keep your own website free of advertising only to find people copy your work to have filler for their google adwords?
